Could you name some manufacturers of rubber kitchen flooring? Most of what I have found on the internet is very black with some speckles of color or the rubber dot flooring.
I have found lots of companies who sell rubber flooring products. NoraRubber.com has a variety of colors and textures. Tuflex.com also offers non-black rubber flooring. Gerberltd.com, Dinoflex.com, and ECOsurfaces.com are just a few of the rubber flooring companies I find. Their products may not be designed specifically for kitchen flooring, but I don’t see a reason to avoid kitchen use.
I am thinking of a rubber floor for my residential kitchen. Do you have any pictures of residential kitchens with a rubber floor?

Rubber deteriorates when exposed to grease. If you’re going to use it in a kitchen, you need rubber that’s been treated to resist grease. Don’t just buy anything that looks good–make sure it’s designed for kitchen use.

You keep saying easy to clean… rubber flooring.. I have rubber flooring in my gym and need to clean it, the people we bought it from will come and clean it for me at almost the same price as I bought it for.. Can you help me and tell me how it is so easy to clean? and what I would need?

Do you know who the manufacturer was for your flooring? Usually, following the manufacturer’s advice is best as well as safe (not to mention it can keep you from voiding their warranty!).
How dirty is your floor? Are we talking really dirty or just need of a regular cleaning? Is it to the point where it needs to be stripped?
What did the flooring people say needs to be done? Did they say it needs to be stripped or are they just going to clean it. Some more info would be helpful.
If you’d like to try cleaning it yourself, there are Ph neutral cleaners that you can buy. There are strippers as you can apply yourself as well.
I also own a gym..our rubber floor is sooooooooo gross…we have no idea how to clean the silly stuff…HELP…at this point I would trade my ??? I don’t know what..for wood floors.

Do you know who manufactured your rubber flooring? There’s many products for cleaning rubber floors, but I think it’d be best to see what the manufacturer recommends. Depending on if your flooring is still under warranty or not is a big consideration in what products you should use.
If nothing else, do a search at your favorite search engine for cleaning “rubber flooring”. You’ll find lots of different products that way.
I apologize, but I really don’t feel that I can recommend a particular product without knowing more about the product & warranty.
Do you know if you can put rubber flooring over concrete that has in floor heating>

I’m not certain, but I think it would be ok, though your in-floor heating may not feel as warm anymore due to the extra layer. I’m presuming you want to lay down rubber flooring for the sake of comfort? If not, you may want to consider painting or staining the concrete – you can get very creative using either method. ;~)
my flooring is by Dalsouple and covers a small bathroom floor. When I purchased it,I was not advised of the huge cost in sealing and cleaning it after it was laid. Aprox £65.00 for a do it yourself kit !The Recommendation is to use this kit, but I cannot afford this and need an alternative cleaner. Can you help.

I hate to say it, but if this is what is recommended, then it’s probably best to use it – mainly so you don’t void the warranty. All you need is the PRO3 and PRO4, the PRO 1 is only for stripping. Here’s the link where you can view the warranty, care instructions, etc.
Flooring sealers are rather expensive, even here, across the pond.
IF you don’t care whether you void the 10 year warranty or not (which only covers the flooring material itself, not adhesives, labor, sealers, etc.) then you can always do a search for sealers and cleaners. It seems that sealers are polyurethane (I would assume water based) – the choice is up to you.
You didn’t mention if your flooring is synethtic or natural rubber, this can make a difference.
Thanks.After a little more research, have found a cleaning kit from a company called The Rubber floor store which is suitable for domestic dalsouple flooring at the price of £29.95 + package and posting. A better price than quoted before.Thanks for your advice.Diane

I have just bought one of the Dalsouple Pro cleaning products from http://www.ufitflooring.com/products/dalsouple-rubber-flooring/ It was Pro 3 – the dressing product. Cost around £16 with postage. The three products are also available for around £35. Best call them than use the website as cheaper delivery and possibility of splitting the products as i did. From experience i found the pro 3 runs out more quickly and it’s the one you need to maintain a good protective shine.
